Betting Act

What this bill does

This bill creates new comprehensive rules for betting in Bermuda by replacing the old 1975 Betting Act. • No comprehensive system for licensing and regulating betting operators, potentially allowing uncontrolled betting activities
• Limited consumer protections and oversight compared to what the new system would provide
