What this bill does

This bill changes the title of the government official who runs Bermuda's Department of Labour from "Manager of Labour Relations" to "Director of Labour." It updates dozens of laws and regulations to reflect this new job title while keeping the Department of Labour operating as usual.

If passed (voted YES)

• The Department of Labour continues operating under a leader now called "Director of Labour" instead of "Manager of Labour Relations"
• All employment laws, union rules, and workplace regulations get updated with the new job title
• Government forms and official documents will use the new "Director" title going forward

If rejected (voted NO)

• The Department of Labour leader keeps the current title "Manager of Labour Relations"
• All existing laws and regulations continue using the old job title
• No changes are made to government forms or official documentation
