Development and Planning Amendment Act

What this bill does

If rejected (voted NO)

• Emergency building permits would still follow the normal, slower planning approval process even during crises
• No formal system would exist for protecting private conservation land, leaving such areas without official protection status
• Current development approval processes would remain unchanged
