What is this contract for?

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation by the Department of Education to prospective vendors to submit proposals for Manned Security Services for five (5) public schools. This will include roving security, entry and egress control, fire safety assistance, incident reports via email, emergency response. The intent of this contract is to provide a safe and secure environment  for all school occupants. Location Of Schools: Clearwater Middle School,  2 St. David's Road, St. David's DD 01 Whitney Institute Middle School, 59 Middle Road, Smith's FL 04 Success Academy, 21 Robert's Avenue,  Devonshire DV 01 Dellwood Middle School, 1 North Street, Pembroke HM 17 Sandy's Secondary Middle School, 42 Scott's Hill Road, Sandy's MA 04 The requirements are outlined in the Request for Proposal ("RFP"). The information contained in this RFP is provided for the exclusive use by a qualified proponent to prepare and submit their proposal. All proposals and supporting documentation shall become the property of the Department of Education and will not be returned. The successful security service contractor will implement the Department of Education security objectives according to policies and procedures which may include, but not limited to the following general tasks. Entry and egress access control Roving patrols of interior and exterior of building Visitor to schools identification verification Incident and daily operating reports Monitoring and responding to building intrusion detection systems Monitoring alarms and fire detection equipment Responding as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating procedures Contact Information Mr. Dwayne Caisey decaisey@gov.bm Language of Submissions Unless otherwise indicated, all submissions shall be in English only.
