What is this contract for?
This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Civil Works at St. Georges Depot , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The Department of Public Transport is seeking a contractor to complete the refurbishment of the St. Georges Bus Depot. The project was started in 2021 and paused in 2022. The scope of the works for this phase are as follows: Construction of five (5) concrete pads, Excavation for conduits (power & communication), Installation of power and communication cables along with construction of Service duct chambers, Excavation for 8" Stormwater pipes, Installation of 8" Stormwater pipes, Construction of concrete curbs, Construction of a concrete sidewalk, Construction of a borehold structure, Construction of Trench Drains RFQ Contact For the purposes of this procurement process, the "RFQ Contact" will be: Mr. Ferdinand Thorne, Projects Coordinator, Department of Public Transport, fthorne@dpt.bm . Important Dates Issue Date of RFQ Thursday May 11, 2023 Pre-Bid / Site Meeting Wednesday May 24, 2023 10:00 AM Deadline for Questions Friday June 02, 2023 Deadline for Issuing Addenda Monday June 12, 2023 Submission Deadline Friday June 23, 2023 04:00:00 PM Rectification Period 5 business days Anticipated Execution of Agreement Friday July 07, 2023 *All times are listed in Atlantic Standard Times (AST). Pre-Bid / Site Meeting Site Visit Mandatory The mandatory site visit will be held at The Bus Depot, Old Military Road, St. George's and is scheduled for May 24, 2023 at 10:00 am. Failure to be present at the site visit and sign in will result in the disqualification of your document submission. **Late submissions will not be accepted.
