Floating Docks Surveying and Replacement Design

What is this contract for?

The Government seeks to engage a suitably qualified engineering firm to design the replacement for the floating ferry docks at Hamilton Ferry Terminal, Dockyard Ferry Terminal, and Hamilton Marine and Ports Depot using existing mooring piles. The existing floating barges are heavily corroded and beyond repair. Reuse of existing gangways, platforms, and ramps, if possible, is preferred. The scope of the project includes surveying the as-built terminals and condition assessment of elements that may be reused; preparing a replacement design proposal; and producing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
