What is this contract for?

This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for External and Internal Painting of Five Government Schools , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). External and Internal Painting of all school buildings at these locations is to be carried out in accordance with the external and/or internal painting specifications attached with this RFQ. External and Internal Painting External and Internal Painting of three Government Schools during the school summer vacation period 1 July 2023 - 27 August 2023. The project buildings are located at: 1. Francis Patton Primary School, 191 North Shore Road, Hamilton 2. Gilbert Institute Primary School, 43 St. Michael's Road, Paget PG 04 3. Harrington Sound Primary School, 44 Harrington Sound Road, Smith's FL 07 Internal Painting Internal Painting (only) of two Government School during the school summer vacation period 1 July 2023 - 27 August 2023. The project buildings are located at: 1. Heron Bay Primary School, 184 Middle Road, Southampton SN03 2. Purvis Primary School, 44 St. Mary's Road, Warwick WK06 It is the intention of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) that no single respondent shall be awarded a contract for more than one of the listed facilities for the purpose of wealth and work distribution within the local economy.  This intention is subject to the tenders received and the Ministry reserves the right to diverge when deemed necessary.
