Bulk Fuel Supply and Infrastructure Upgrades 2022

What is this contract for?

This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Bulk Fuel Supply and Infrastructure Upgrades 2022 as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The Government of Bermuda would like to enter into an agreement with suitably qualified Bulk Fuel Suppliers to provide diesel and gasoline for its fleet of vehicles.  The agreement will extend over the next 10 or 15 years, depending on the agreed term of the contract, and it will include improvements to the Government's fuel storage and dispensing facilities located around the Island. Pre-Bid / Site Meeting A mandatory site meeting will be held on October 7, 2022 at 9:00 AM AST at the following location: Government Quarry The above will be the initial meeting point then the tour will move as follows: Public Works Quarry & Asphalt Plant Marine & Ports on Crow Lane Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service on King Street Public Works at Marsh Folly Bermuda Police Service at Prospect location Public Transportation Bus Depot Palmetto Road Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service in Port Royal Westgate Correctional Facility in Sandys Failure to be present at each site and sign-in will result in the disqualification of your proposal submission.  The site visits will be conducted during the regular business hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in order to become familiar with conditions that may affect the proposed work.  All proponets or their official representative(s) attending the site meetings are responsible for their own cost and are required to attend each site so they are fully acquainted with existing conditions and limitations. The proponet or their official representative must register their presence with the RFP Contact, Elizabeth Davis-Smith, at the start of the meeting and each site stating the name of the company they represent, their email address, and phone number. **Late submissions will not be accepted.
