What is this contract for?

This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Chiller & Condenser Replacement and HVAC Plant Maintenance Sylvia Richardson Care Facility , as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The Government of Bermuda is soliciting for quotations from qualified HVAC vendors for the replacement of a 60 Ton Trane Chiller and Outdoor Condensers.  Quotations are also being solicited for the clearing, routine maintenance and inspections of the HVAC plant and associated equipment located at the Sylvia Richardson Care Facility.  The contract for the HVAC Plant Maintenance will be on a monthly basis for a three year term. Pre-Bid / Site Visit Meeting The bidder's designated representative is invited to attend a Pre-Bid meeting, if provided for; the purpose of the meeting will be to clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage of the procurement.  If so provided for, the Government will organize a site visit. The bidder is requested, as far as possible, to submit any questions in writing, to reach the RFP Contact not later than one week before the meeting. Non attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting will not be a cause for disqualification of a bidder.
