What is this contract for?

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Filming and Film Production of the 2018 Convening of Parliament, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Department of Communications seeks to retain services from qualified films and/or individuals fully experienced and qualified in filming and film production. It is anticipated that the successful proponent will be able to provide the following: A switched SDI 16:9 1920 X 1080 29.97 fps Broadcast Signal with embedded audio; All necessary equipment for production and signal transmission to CITV; and Backup recording file/s of switched production for later transmission. 1920 x 1080 29.97 fps .mov or .mp4 Proponent's proposals must provide a detailed production budget and method statement, safety procedures, staffing levels and program, must accompany your proposal for it to be considered. The Department of Communications will own all material and rights to all video created for this project and act as Producer and Director to provide the following: All post-production editing for rebroadcasting. Each proponent proposal, comprising of the technical proposal submission form, certification of confirmation of non collision form and financial proposal form, should be submitted in accordance with the instructions herein.
