What is this contract for?

This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective vendors to submit proposals for the Department of Financial Assistance. The Government of Bermuda, is requesting proposals from qualified security service providers with the intention of entering into a two (2) year Security Service contract, for an initial period from June 1 st , 2019 to March 31 st , 2021 with an option to review for an additional year based upon the contractor’s satisfactory performance and available funding. The intent of this contract is aimed to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, and keeping logs of information for reporting purposes. The Government of Bermuda is seeking proposals for the primary purpose of contracting security services for Global House, 1 st Floor, 43 Church Street, Hamilton including security administration, on site screening, reporting, emergency response services and the monitoring of security cameras. Unless otherwise indicated, all submissions shall be in English only.
