What is this contract for?
Executive Summary: The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Public Works is soliciting tenders from experienced Tank Manufacturers for the supply and install of a replacement water tank for the North shore Water Truckers Outlet. This work involves design, supply and installation of a glass fused steel tank with a nominal capacity of 65,000 US gallons. The tank is to have a maximum height of 15.5 ft. with a nominal diameter of 31 ft. to be founded on an existing concrete foundation. Contractors submitting a tender for this work will be required to provide sufficient information to demonstrate their technical and financial capability to complete the works in accordance with the specification and schedule and demonstrate that they have successfully completed similar projects involving tank supply and installation. Tenders submitted by contractors who cannot demonstrate this expertise will be automatically rejected.
