What is this contract for?

This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is issued by the Government of Bermuda on behalf of the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service (BFRS) to invite qualified proponents to express their interest and demonstrate their capability to design, construct, and deliver up to six (6) customized Class B medium duty fire pumpers. The delivery of these vehicles will occur over a six-year period, beginning in fiscal year 2025/2026, as part of a strategic, multi-phase fleet renewal program aimed at strengthening national emergency response capabilities. The intent of this RFSQ is to identify and pre-qualify suppliers with the proven technical expertise, engineering capability, and after-sales support infrastructure necessary to deliver fire apparatus that are custom-built to meet Bermuda’s unique geographic, road, and operational conditions.
