Acquisition of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

What is this contract for?

The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service (BF&RS) invites interested and qualified parties to submit a request for proposal for seventy-six (76) open circuit, Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (S.C.B.A.) and related components. The new S.C.B.A. system will replace the Fire & Rescue Services existing Avon (I.S.1) S.C.B.A.s and encompass a turn-key solution by providing the BFR&S with a new S.C.B.A. system that meets current and future equipment needs, both reliably and functionally. "Turn-key" is defined as a system that can be easily implemented into our current processes whilst meeting all the necessary BF&RS requirements and performance standards for one price.
