What is this contract for?

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the “Government”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for IP Telephony System Support, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Bermuda Police Service (hereafter known as “BPS”) is seeking a service provider to support its IP Telephony System. This IP Telephony System includes the support of 911 emergency services which requires 24/7/365 up time and on-call service support. The successful proponent will be required to support the following system configuration: Cisco Unified Communications Services System (11.5) comprising of the following Applications and Devices: Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cluster of four (4) Servers Cisco Unity Connection Cluster of two (2) servers Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Instant Messaging Server Cluster of two (2) servers Cisco Expressway Core Cluster Cisco Expressway Edge Cluster Cisco Jabber application Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) 5525X ISI Call accounting system VERBA Call recording Nine (9) Voice Gateway with SRST Two (2) VG 224 and several ATA devices Cisco LAN and WAN QoS The Unified Communication System supports 500 users.
