Biography

The Hon. Michael M. Fahy, J.P., M.P. was elected to represent the people of Constituency 20, Pembroke South West in February 2025. He was appointed by the Opposition Leader to serve as the Shadow Minister for Municipalities & Housing  and Home Affairs. He first served in the Senate in 2008 to 2009as Shadow Minister for Transport, Energy and Telecommunications.  He served again in the Senate from 2011 to 2012 as Shadow Minister of the Environment, Planning, Infrastructure and Housing.  After the OBA’s election win in 2012 he was elevated to the position of GovernmentSenate Leader as Minister of Home Affairs from 2012 to 2016 and then Minister of Tourism, Transport and Municipalitiesfrom 2016 until 2017.  Michael is an attorney, accredited mediator and notary public. He is married and is the proud father of four children.
