Biography

Scott Pearman was elected to represent the people of Paget East in a by-election held in June 2018, following the retirement of Grant Gibbons, MP, who served for 25 years.Scott was born and raised in Paget, where he lives with his wife and their four children. He is a litigator at Conyers Dill & Pearman, having studied at Georgetown in Washington, DC and then at Oxford in England.Scott sits on the Boards of the Family Centre and the BAS Group of companies. He is an accredited Mediator and a certified Arbitrator. In his maiden speech to the House of Assembly, Scott called for greater unity, urging all Bermudians to work together to help solve the Island’s problems.Scott is currently the Shadow Minister for Legal Affairs for the Opposition.
