To support and advise the Permanent Secretary and Minister on Ministry of Home Affairs' initiatives including assisting with drafting legislation; oversee implementing and publicising attendant plans, funds, projects and studies; to oversee the progression of other legislation; and to assist in completing amendments to bring other Acts into full operation.
