➔ Services at the Preschool level are itinerant.
Note for Occupational Therapists
➔ Occupational Therapists (OTs) are assigned to all public preschools, primary,
middle, and senior schools. There are currently six (6) established OT posts
dedicated to supporting students across the school system. At present, one (1) of
these posts is vacant and is under active recruitment. Interim coverage has been
arranged through part-time temporary relief, ensuring continuity of service until the
position is filled. Once recruitment is complete, this will bring the complement to
full capacity.
Student-to-Support Staff Ratios
➔ With respect to student-to-therapist ratios, each OT supports approximately 35 to
50 students, resulting in an average ratio of 1:35 to 1:50. Ratios vary according to
the complexity of student needs and the nature of service provision. Students
requiring direct, intensive intervention are typically served within smaller

caseloads, while those receiving consultative or monitoring support allow for
broader coverage.
